Impala RFC have undertaken one of the biggest rebuilding exercises of the transfer window after bringing in a host of new players for both their men’s and women’s teams ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The Kenya Cup side has strengthened its men’s squad with experienced additions from Kisumu RFC, university rugby and several players registered through the New Player Registration (NPR) category.
Leading the arrivals are Benjamin Opar, Andrew Aswani, and Denzel Juma, who all make the move from Kisumu RFC.
The club has also signed Jordan Kang’ahi from Catholic Monks and Lincoln Agade from KU BlakBlad.

A significant number of players have joined through the New Player Registration pathway, including Anthony Omondi, Bonface Ogot, Conrad Hinga, Derrick Onyango, Elvis Omondi, Evan Asena, Kuria Karanja, Metternich Modechai, Stephen Opiyo, Peter Isika Muasya, Ted Adrian Ng’ong’a, Nzomo Mutisya Nzomo, George Onyango Odhiambo, Samuel Mukoma Karanja, Elvis Lumiti Likhanga, David Waithaka Kamau, Bramwel Atonya, John Derrick Manda, Billy Mwendwa Asiyo, Ryan Butichio, Johncarlus Miti Mane, Javan Odongo Odongo, and Simon Wekesa.
Impala have also reinforced their women’s squad with the signing of Linet Moraa from Mwamba RFC alongside Sophia Nasimiyu, Edith Naliaka, Furaha Lydia, Justine Nekesa, Lydia Wamboi, and Maryann Mbura, all joining through the New Player Registration category.
