KCB Rugby have unveiled their 12-man squad for the 2025 Safari 7s, with playmaker Brian Wahinya and Bramwel Kilwake set to co-captain the side at the tournament that kicks off from 10 to 12 October at the Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi.

The Bankers’ traveling squad has Sande Dominic, Wekesa Michael, Tyson Maina, Kimaya Clyde, Kipruto Jenkins, and Kelvin Ochieng.

Also named in the side are Opondo Emmanuel, Osumba Stephen, Sikutwa Austin, and Branton Lusisa, rounding the 12-man squad.

KCB will, however, be without their interim coach Andrew Amonde, who has joined the Kenya Shujaa technical bench as the national team chases a record fourth consecutive Safari 7s crown.

In his absence, seasoned 15s captain Jacob Ojee will step in as head coach, guiding the team through the three-day competition.

The Bankers come into the tournament after a dominant 2025 National Sevens Circuit season, where they were crowned overall champions, cementing their place as one of Kenya’s most consistent sevens sides.

This year’s appearance also marks their return to the Safari 7s stage after missing the 2024 edition, with their last run coming in 2023.

KCB are drawn in Pool B alongside Shogun, Uganda, and Nyati, setting up a series of thrilling encounters as they aim to stamp their mark on the 27th edition of the Safari 7s.

Their campaign will open with a Friday evening clash against Shogun at 6:12 PM, followed by fixtures against Uganda at 12:43 PM and Nyati at 4:53 PM on Saturday.
