List of Kenya Harlequin and Queens new signings

Kenya Harlequins have made several key signings for both their men’s and women’s squads as they prepare for the resumption of the league, slated for Saturday, 11th January 2025.

According to a list released by the Kenya Rugby Union following the December midseason transfers, the men’s team has strengthened with the additions of Dessailly Wafula Makokha from Blak Blad, Mike Munene and Felix Ouma from Homeboyz RFC.

Kenya Harlequin sign ex-Simbas duo

Former Kenya Simbas player Philip Ikambili, who also joins from Homeboyz. The squad has also acquired Shaquel Bosire from Mwamba RFC and former Kenya u20 and Kenya Simbas back rower Stephen Antony Otieno from Impala RFC. Otieno commonly known as security will make a comeback to rugby  for the first time since 2020.

On the women’s side, the Kenya Lionesses’ Maureen Muritu, along with Refa Ochando, Angel Salamba, and Rubi Inziani, have also signed with the Ngong Road-based club.

These new additions will bolster both squads as the Harlequins aim to make an impact in the second half of the season.

With both side unbeaten with the Women’s squad top of the Kenya Cup women’s log.
