Kenya Harlequin II lead the Eric Shirley Shield standings after match day one with 5 points and an impressive 67-point differential, placing them ahead of Nondescripts II, who have the same points but a 44-point differential.

Kabras Sugar II sit third with 5 points and a 28-point differential, tied with KCB Rugby II, KU Blak Blad II, and Menengai Oilers II.
