Daystar Falcons down USIU Martials

Daystar Falcons began their KRU Championship on a high beating USIU Martial 25-11 in a match played at Daystar Unversity in Athi River.

Falcons started off strong after Eddy Wambugu scored the first penalty. Wambugu added another penalty in the 23rd minute of the game making it a total of six points.

USIU responded through Faustine Waswa who scored the first penalty ending the first half at 6-3.

EDITOR’S PICKS:

Falcons extended their lead in the second half after getting two conversions from Wambugu and three tries from Vincent Omuroka, Augustine Owino and Clinton Amukwachi.

USIU managed to get a penalty and a try from Waswa and Wilard Oloo but that was not enough to catch up with Falcons.
