Kisia stepped down from his role at Strathmore Leos in March 2023, with former Nondies coach Willis Ojal stepping in as his replacement.

During his four-year tenure at Strathmore Leos, Kisia led the team back to the Kenya Cup and guided them to consecutive semi-final appearances.
In recognition of his contributions, Strathmore Leos took to their social media platforms to express their gratitude, describing his time at the club as legendary.
“Today we celebrate Fathee, who has had a legendary stint and service at Strathmore Leos! Coach Louis Kisia (Fathee) joined us in 2019, just in time to bring the Leos back from relegation and straight into the Kenya Cup semi-finals. He coached us until 2024,” read the club’s statement.

The club further highlighted Kisia’s impact, both on and off the pitch, emphasizing the family atmosphere he fostered, the standards he set, and the victories he secured.
“From leading us to several cup victories and forming a formidable young Leos squad, he made us his family, and we made him ours. His commitment also led him to offer his expertise to the National Sevens Team, Kenya Sevens,” the statement continued.
The club fondly recalled his dedication, even participating in training sessions and pushing the team with initiatives like the #5AMClub, particularly with the 7s squad.
As @Kisia_Fathee charts a new path, we do hope that the glory, the lessons, the mentorship and all the invaluable memories he experienced with the Leos will never be forgotten.
