Despite their impressive form in the group stage, which included a 31-21 victory over Makerere College and dominant wins over King’s College Budo (60-00) and Kitondo School (42-03), Butula High will not proceed further.
Their strong performances had earned them a spot in the semi-finals, where they were slated to face defending champions St. Mary’s College Kisubi (SMACK).
With Butula’s elimination, Kitondo has finished top of their pool and will face SMACK in the semi-finals.
