Shamberere Vikings, Makunga and Bungoma dominate men’s fixtures as Western Spears controlled the Women’s category on the day 1 fixture of the Inagural Western Region BingwaFest 10s Tournament hosted at the Mumias Sports Complex.
The Men’s fixtures of the tournament by betting firm Betika through their Betika na Community program started with Segere beating Mumias 12-00 as Shamberere downed Sirisia 31-00 to show their dominance in the first-round fixture.

Bungoma side also displayed dominance in their first match to snatch a 10-00 win over Triple K as Lufuosi forced a 07-00 win in a tight encounter against Amalemba.
Andeliza started their match narrowly snatching a 12-10 win over Chetambe as Makunga started their bdominance with a 14-05 win over Carribean before Chavakali picked 19-00 win over Kakamega Vikings and Borderrucks drew with Kisiwa.
In the second round match, Makunga started their chase with a 31-00 win over Mumias as Segere got their first win 05-00 over Carribean alongside Bungoma who managed a dominant 29-00 win over Sirisia.

Lufuosi managed their second win after dominating territory to snatch a dominant 31-00 win over Chetambe as dominant Shamberere ran over Triple K to snatch an impressive 32-00 win.
Andeliza managed to frustrate Amalemba to secure a 12-05 win as the Kakamega Vikings chest out snatched a 33-10 win over Borderrucks as they completed their second.
In the third round, Kakamega Vikings snatched a 12-03 win over Kisiwa as Shamberere drew with Bungoma RFC and the dominating Makunga managed to secure their third win 14-05 over the Carribean.
The Wome’s side was highly dominated by the Western Spears who managed a 52-00 win over Bungoma Queens in their first round alongside Vihiga Queens who narrowly snatched a 12-10 win over Mumias Ladies.
Lurambi Raiders managed a 34-00 win in their first-round match after dominating their game against Kisiwa while Black Rock outwitted Sheywe to snatch a narrow 10-07 win.
In the second round, Western Spears maintained their dominant run as they dominantly outshined Lurambi Raiders to secure a 26-00 win as Sheywe narrowly snatched their first win 12-10 over Mumias.
Black Rock managed their second win after a hard-fought 12-10 win over Vihiga Queens as Kisiwa downed Bungoma to manage a 10-00 win.
The third round saw the Western Spears managing another dominant win over Kisiwa after a dominant 33-00 win.
