Mwamba RFC have beaten Nondescript 15-07 in the Kenya Cup match day 6 at RFUEA grounds.

The match started with Mwamba getting an early lead of three points before they extended the lead to 8-0 after Eliakim Kichoi back from sabbatical went over the whitewash to score a try which was not converted.

Mwamba pounced on a loose ball to score their second try and their fly half, Tony Omondi added the extras to send the teams to the half time by 15-0.

In the second half both teams displayed their defence and attacking skills. After very many attempts, Nondies managed to break through Mwamba’s defense to make their first converted try to reduce the deficit to 15-7.

Catholic Monks also ended their losing streak after beating Homeboyz 27-17 to pick a bonus point victory which keeps their hope of survival alive.
