Impala’s Coach has named his side that will be on duty in the KRU Championship against Mean Machine which is scheduled to take place on 20th January 2024 at the Impala grounds from 3 pm.
Jerald Wire will start as hooker and will be joined in the front row by loosehead prop Milton Omondi and Tariq Ngige who will start as tighthead prop.
Impala’s second row will have Leon Onduso and Billy Arigi. Clinton Musonye will start as blindside flanker while Cosmas Valentino who will be the squad’s captain will be the openside flanker and finally Onesmus Kinyanjui at number 8.
The half-backs will be Benjamin Madaga and Churchill Obat. They will work alongside the centres Peter Wabwire( inside centre) and Derick Kinyari( outside centre).
Elvis Oroko will be the squad’s left winger while Quinto Ongo will start at the right wing and finally Timothy Makiya at fullback.
Impala’s replacement will feature Joshua Matasi, Warren Akaranga, Brian Ochieng’, Brian Owino, Evans Omondi, James Mwangi, Patrick Mutuku and Maxwell Omondi.
