Kenya Cup side Kisumu RFC are seeking to hire a head coach to lead the side in the upcoming matches of the 2023/24 campaign.
To be appointed the coach for the Brave Hearts, the candidate is required to have a World Rugby Level 2 certification and individuals with a strength and conditioning qualification will have an added advantage.
Kisumu RFC expectations
Candidates are expected to send their applications to the club’s Secretary by 19 January 2023.
“Applications should be submitted no later than 19th January 2024, and addressed to the Secretary Kisumu RFC at kisumurugbyfootballclub@gmail.com,” the club announced.
“Applicants should attach all the necessary certificates and a detailed CV with a well-articulated coaching philosophy,” the club added.

Kisumu RFC parted ways with Lawrence Buyachi who led them for 14 months, before leaving just before the Kenya Cup season.
During his tenure in Kisumu City, Buyachi helped Kisumu RFC finish second in the second tier earning promotion back to Kenya Cup.

He however left the club at a crucial stage stating that he was keen to be close to home and he had also landed a chance for career advancement.
He has since joined the Menengai Oilers technical bench as a forward coach and the club has had an impressive start to the season.
