Kenya Cup side Kisumu RFC, have made several additions in the transfer market to strengthen their squad for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.
Habil Malika, a seasoned centre who previously played for the Kenya Cup Champions, has joined Kisumu RFC on a free transfer.
Malika brings a wealth of experience, having been part of the 2016 Kenya Cup-winning squad and securing multiple Kenya Cup titles as well as an Enterprise Cup victory in Kakamega.
Kisumu RFC additions
Adding to their arsenal, David Williams, a fullback, and Warren Kamadi, a half-back, have joined Kisumu RFC on loan deals from Kabras.
Derrick Okisai, a halfback from varsity side MMUST, has also joined Kisumu RFC on loan. The club has further strengthened its squad with the acquisition of Meshack Mbaiza, a hooker from Bungoma.
Kenya Harlequin centre Ian Wamukoya has also become part of the Kisumu RFC squad on a loan deal.

With these new additions, Kisumu RFC are aiming to improve their position on the standing in the league.
Having concluded the first three matches in the ninth position on the log, the Bravehearts are eager to climb higher with the help of their newly acquired players.
Kisumu RFC’s upcoming fixtures include a home match against Varsity side Blak Blad, where they will be seeking a win to enhance their chances of survival.
They are set to face bottom-placed Catholic Monks on matchday five and will encounter Menengai Oilers in their final match of January.
