Blak Blad stage comeback to share spoils with Nakuru

Nakuru RFC were forced to share spoils with Blak Blad staging a remarkable comeback for a 19-19 draw at Kenyatta University Grounds.

Both sides had lost one and won one match in the campaign’s  openers. Nakuru Were eyeing back to back wins after beating Kisumu last weekend while Blad were eyeing a bounce back.

Chrisant Ojwang’ made the first line break for the Nakuru RFC handing them an early lead against the hosts Blak Blad 7-0 after it was successfully converted.

Paul Lusesi increased Nakuru’s control with another try to change the board score 12-0 after the conversion was kicked far wide.

Nakuru secured another try as they maintained their dominance in the game before the first half to increase their scores 19-0 against the hosts. The try gave Nakuru hopes of winning in a tough venue.

The hosts made a double comeback tries to tally the board 19-12 after they missed a single conversation.

The Hosts determined to maintain their home dominance, made another line break to secure another converted try which leveled the scores 19-19.
