Uganda lady Cranes squad to face Kenya Lionesses

Uganda lady Cranes technical bench led by head coach Emmanuel Katuntu have announced their matchday squad to face off with Kenya Lionesses in the women’s Elgon Cup tournament to be held at Jomo Kenyatta International Stadium, Mamboleo, Kisumu on 11th November 2023.

The forward has Props Faith Namugga and vice-captain Patricia Anek, Fazirah Namukwaya will play as the hooker. Leona Acen and Charity Atimango are the Locks. The back row will have the Blindside flanker Peace Mirembe, and Cabrine Kibabo comes in as the open-side flanker.
Angela Nanyonjo is the number 8.

The backline has Scrum-half Sarah Nakafero while Tina Akello is the fly-half. Asha Nakityo who is also the captain is the inside centre whereas Minica Nandudu is the outside centre. Georgina Namukose is on the left wing Emily Lakuru occupies the right wing and vice captain Juliet Nadawula is the fullback.

The bench replacements are Kadara Nalinya, Brenda Kemigisha, Doreen Mbabazi, Nahia Fazal, Brenda Kayiyi, Fatuma Rahia, Angom Evelyn and Florence Babirye.
