Uganda Cranes final squad for Victoria Cup

Uganda Cranes squad of 28 players has been named by head coach Fred Mudola ahead of the Victoria Cup which kicks off later this month at King’s Park in Bweyogerere.

The front row has hookers Faragi Odugo, Nathan Bwambale and Jude Jjuuko. Props Santos Senteza, Ivan Kabagambe, Collins Kimbowa and Saul Kivumbi.

The second row features Charles Uhuru, Robert Aziku and Eliphaz Emong. The back rowers are Joaquim Chisano, Mark Omoding, Sydney Gongodyo, Byron Oketayot and Frank Kidega.

Scrum-half Conrad Wanyama who is also the vice-captain, Captain Ivan Magomu, Nicholas Kato, Liam Walker, Mula Eric, Joseph Oyet and Thomas Gwokto have been included in the squad.

Other players in the 28-man squad include Alhaji Manano,  Veteran Michael Wokorach, Kisiga Timothy,  Shakim Ssembusi, Jacob Ochen, Asuman Mugerwa.

The first two matches will be staged at the King’s Park, Bwegorere. Uganda’s fixtures against Kenya doubles as Elgon Cup matches.
