Sigalagala and Makueni have reached the Prinsloo 7s Division II final after winning their respective semi-finals at Nakuru Athletic Club.
This means UoE Trojans will not be in the finals for the first time this season. They faced heartbreak after a 12-07 loss to Sigalagala in the Semifinals. Makueni on the other had a 14-5 win over Administration Police.
The Trojans played the Embu Dragons to secure a 19-7 win and a spot in the Semi-finals while A.P. Warriors booked their own spot in the Semi-finals by securing one unconverted try against the Molo RFC.
Makueni had to fight to secure a 24-19 win against the TUM Marines while Sigalagala had it easy against Moi University to secure a 19-5 win.
Challenge Trophy Quarterfinals
Kabarak who are the Dala 7s champions played the Northern Suburbs to secure a 7-0 win and qualify for the Semi-finals.
The Stallions had a tough win over the Nanyuki Jackals after a narrow 7-5 victory in their favour.
Kenya Prisons failed to hold on to a win over the Meru RFC after a 15-7 loss. Homabay secured a 17-15 against the Kenya Cup side Impala.
Spear Trophy Quarterfinals
Eldoret RFC secured their first win in the tournament against the Egerton Wasps to book a spot in the Semi-final after a 26-0 victory. KCA qualified after a 19-7 win against the Stormers alongside the JKUAT who also will have a spot in the Semis after a 21-0 win over Siaya.
