Zimbabwe squad for World U20 Trophy opener against Scotland

Zimbabwe Sables Juniors have announced their squad that will play against Scotland in the World U20 Trophy set for Nyayo Stadium on Saturday 8:00 AM EAT.

Starting in the front row, the props Gerry Zisengwe and Tadiwa Chinwada provide stability and strength in the scrums, working alongside hooker Bryan Chiang. In the second row, Huntley Masterson and Tanaka Gondomukandapi act as locks

The back row consists of flankers Leo Mutendi and Allan Mawunga. The number 8 position is held by Shingi Manyarara.

In the halfback positions, scrum-half and captain Panashe Zuze will start with fly-half Brendan Marume at position 10.

Edward Sigauke and Simbarashe Kanyangarara operate as the wings as Alex Nyamunda and Dion Khumalo. Benoni Nhekairo is the fullback.

On the bench, the Sables Juniors have Tanaka Ndoro, Martin Hakunavanhu, Gealan Jaricha, Tawananyasha Bwanya, Mazuva Gutu, Shadreck Mandaza, Tanaka Chinyanga, and Tawanda Matipano stand ready to make an impact when called upon.
