New Zealand win 2023 World Sevens Series

New Zealand will be crowned the 2023 World 7s Series after winning the title with one more tournament to spare.

The All Blacks 7s team beat France 19-14 in the semi final to reach the seventh final and are now guaranteed of their 14th title with one round to play.

At the end of this tournament, they will have 186 if they win Toulouse 7s and 184 if they finish second.

They join their Womens team who will also be crowned the Women’s Series title.

New Zealand womens were crowned champions of the season for the seventh time since the start of the World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series, thanks to their qualification for the Cup quarter-finals.

Meanwhile Argentina and Fiji have qualified for the Olympics. Argentina became the third team to secure their ticket for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris and they did so in style, beating Great Britain 55-0 at the end of pool play.
