MMUST beat Kisumu to win 2023 Kisii 7s

MMUST are the Kisii 7s Champions after beating Kisumu RFC 29-0 in a final played at Gusii Stadium.

Its MMUST third consecutive trophy in the preseason after having won the Jinja 7s and Bungoma 7s. The victory gives MMUST confidence heading t the National 7s Circuit scheduled for June.

Elvis Amunya opened the scoring for MMUST and his try was converted by Isaiah Mulongo for a 7-0 lead. Collins Ngoko doubled their lead with Mulongo’s conversion making it 14-0.

Amunya returned to the scoresheet with an unconverted try for a 19-0 lead. The Makaka’s grabbed 10 more points to win another trophy.
