Administration Police have announced Oscar Okaron as the new head coach ahead of the 2023/24 season.

AP who failed to got past the Nationwide National quarterfinals have settled on the former Homeboyz coach as they seek to impress in the coming 7s and 15s campaigns.

The club who announced the opening recently, confirmed Okaron’s appointment via their official social media pages.

“We introduce our new coach officially. Welcome to your new home Okaron Oscar. May God see you through this journey. Welcome on board sir congratulations once again,” reads a statement by AP.

Okaron returns to Nationwide after leading Kenya Cup team Homeboyz RFC in 2022/23. In the Kenya Cup, he led the club to a ninth-place finish.

He previously led Busia’s Borderrucks during the 2021/22 season. He is well-known for his remarkable development talents, having assisted the Kakamega School coaching staff in winning the KSSSA 7s and 15s titles in 2012 and 2013.

He has also helped Koyonzo develop the team that won the 2022 KSSSA 7s.
