In the Nyanza Region Schools Rugby 15s matches played on Wednesday and Thursday, Maseno and Yala continued their unbeaten runs in Pool A with impressive performances as well hosts Kisii School.
Maseno defeated Homa Bay 32-13 and Nduru 14-7, while Yala overcame Nduru 13-0 and Homa Bay 32-10. Maseno and Yala have qualified for the semis but will face off in the last pool game on Friday to determine who tops the Pool
In Pool B, Kisii maintained their 100% record with a convincing 32-0 victory over Gekano. Nyabondo also kept their unbeaten run intact with a 17-0 win over Rapogi, before losing a close match to Kisii 12-10. Nyabondo are also through to the semis.
Kisii who have booked a place in the semis will conclude their matches with a clash against Rapogi as they seek to maintain their fine run.
