In the upcoming KRU Championship qualifiers quarterfinals, eight teams will battle it out for a chance to progress to the next stage of the competition.
Administration Police will face off against Kitale RFC at the Jomo Kenyatta University Grounds in a match scheduled for 1 pm. At the same venue, Jomo Kenyatta University will take on Machakos University at 3 pm.
Meanwhile, Moi University will host Makueni RFC at their grounds, while Mombasa RFC will welcome Sigalagala National Polytechnic to the Mombasa Sports Club Grounds, with both matches kicking off at 3 pm.
The teams in the quarterfinals have already navigated through the pre-quarters, with some exciting encounters taking place.
In the pre-quarters, Administration Police triumphed over Northern Suburbs 30-9, while JKUAT edged past Maseno University 23-21.
Moi University got a walk over against Kilifi RFC, and Mombasa RFC dominated Molo RFC 41-12. Sigalagala National Polytechnic put on an impressive defensive display to shut out MKU Thika 13-0, while Makueni RFC narrowly defeated TUM 31-30.
Machakos University secured a hard-fought 18-15 victory over Kenya Prisons, while Kitale RC overcame Kibabii University 8-5.
As the competition heats up, fans are eagerly anticipating the quarterfinals, where the teams will be looking to secure a spot in the semi-finals.
