Brian Ndirangu is set to make history as he hits his 100th appearance for Menengai Oilers, who will take on Kabras RFC in a highly-anticipated Kenya Cup match at the Kakamega Showground.

As a fitting tribute to his achievement, Ndirangu has been chosen to captain the side for this landmark game.

Ndirangu will start in the back row alongside the impressive Samuel Mwaura, who bagged a hat-trick last weekend, and Nickson Ochieng. Tom Maina makes way.

In the front row, former Kabras prop Destoroius Ifedha gets the nod ahead of another former Kabras prop Vincent Mwikali, who will be on the bench.

Ifedha will be joined by Edward Mwaura and Emmanuel Mulla.

Eric Miheso and Ibrahim Ayoo continue their partnership in the second row for the second game running.

Meanwhile, Sam Onsomu takes the starting slot at fly-half, with Andrew Odero also getting a nod in the backline.

Austin Sikutwa, Timothy Omela, and Davis Nyaundi make way for Johnstone Mung’au, Steve Arunga, and Eugene Lubanga.

Menengai Oilers will be determined to pull off an upset against Kabras RFC and claim their first-ever win against the Sugarmen.
