Catholic Monks announce squad for Mean Machine date

Catholic Monks Head Coach John Isalambo has announced his squad that will tackle Mean Machine in a Kenya Cup encounter scheduled for Catholic Monks Grounds.

It will be a repeat of the 2022 KRU Championship final which Machine won 27-19 at the same venue. The coach has Jerry Olem, Jeremy Odhiambo and Edward Oyucho as his front rowers.

Meshack Ogechi and Charles Owino have second row roles while Mark Oseko, Osundwa and Maxwell Omondi are in the back row.

Samuel Owino will continue at scrum-half as Samuel Omollo captains the side at fly-half.  Felix Okumu starts on the left wing, Dennis Mulinge is on the right wing and Eric Ogutu retains his place at fullback.

Mosagwe Reginad and Patrick Kluivert are the midfielders. Sabato Masika is back for the club after recovering from illness and will start off the bench.

Both Monks are eyeing the first win of the season that will boost their survival chances.
