MMUST include Mmasi in squad to play Strathmore Leos

MMUST Rugby club have revealed their squad that will be on duty against Strathmore Leos in the Kenya Cup encounter scheduled for Madaraka Grounds.

Kenyan International Timothy Mmasi starts in the midfield as an outside centre alongside Nobert Lumbwani who is the inside centre.  The back three has Griffin Chao, John Bahati and Isaiah Mulongo.

Eric Cantona at fly-half

Veron Kaburu has been entrusted with scrum-half duties with playmaker Eric Cantona set to continue at fly-half.  The back row has Jada Abdon, Calvin Wabuyele, Reinhard Ngaira.

William Muhanji and Nelson Makokha form the second row partnership with Javan Olando, Mark Oluoch, and Collins Ngoko in the front row.

MMUST head back to Madaraka where they lost by a point last season and will be hoping to avenge the loss.

The side warmed up for the new campaign with the Victoria Cup where they finished second after losing 17-13 to Kabras RFC at Kakamega Showground.

Strathmore were part of the Impala Floodlit where they lost to Blak Blad in the quarters.
