Kenya Simbas are set to miss the services of fly-half Dominic Coulson and utility back Andrew Matoka as they head to the final Rugby World Cup final qualification tournament slated for Dubai next month.
Kenya Rugby Union announced on Friday that the duo are yet to join the camp as they have academic commitments. The academic commitments are set to lock them out of the final tournament.
“The squad is without Dominic Coulson and Andrew Matoka who will also miss out on the qualifiers due to academic commitments at their respective institutions of learning in England and the USA,” reads a statement by KRU.
Coulson and Matoka were part of the Simbas squad that finished second during the Rugby Africa Cup tournament held in France in July 2022.
