Impala name Soi, Khadambi for Driftwood 7s

Impala Saracens head coach Oscar Osir has announced his 13-man squad that will feature in Mombasa for the Driftwood 7s at Mombasa Sports Club this weekend.

Tony Kadhambi have been included in the squad and makes his first 7s appearance with his last appearance being in the Enterprise Cup where KCB Rugby narrowly edged Impala 20-18. Israel Soi will also be making his first 7s appearance this season.

Paul Mutsami retain the captaincy role and will lead the squad that has Frank Aduda and  Hannington Mbaka.

Osir has also named Churchill Obat,  Sammy Kimakwa, and Valentino Cosmas in the squad. The likes of Derrick Kinyari, Samuel Maina and Anthony Omondi have been included in the travelling squad.

Impala Sevens head to Mombasa keen to stage a repeat of the 2019 Driftwood sevens when they featured in the finals.

Oscar Osir has managed one quarterfinal appearance in the last two rounds of the circuit and will be eager to do well in this outing
