South Africa are top on the World 7s Series standings as the campaign heads to the final event scheduled for Los Angeles 7s.
SA finished fifth in London after a 14-5 win over Ireland in the fifth place playoff. They got 13 points in the event and have moved to 124 points with one round of the World 7s Series remaining.
Australia second
Australia moved second on the standings after winning the London 7s. Aussies beat New Zealand 19-14 to lift their first title in the 2022 World 7s campaign. 22 points from London saw them move to 122 points on the log.
Argentina dropped to third after picking just eight points from London having missed the quarters during the event. They are on 118 points after eight rounds.

Fiji are fourth on the standings with 104 points following 17 points in London while Ireland are fifth with 92 points.
USA are sixth with 84 points with France placed seventh with 81 points. England sit eighth with 70 points while New Zealand are ninth with 58 points.
Samoa are 10th with 56 points just five ahead of 11th placed Spain. Scotland are 11th with 41 points.
Kenya 7s bad run in the World 7s Series continued as they picked just a point in London. They dropped one place down to 13th and have 38 points.
Canada are 14th with 34 points and the relegation spots are occupied by Wales and Japan who have 31 and 26 points.
Two teams will be relegated at the end of this season.
