Mwamba confirm co-captains ahead of 2022 National 7s Circuit

Mwamba Rugby Club have announced their c0-captains for the 2022 National 7s Circuit scheduled to commence with their home tournament-Kabeberi 7s.

According to the club’s latest communique, Eliakim Kichoi and Ronnie Omondi will be the co-captains in the campaign which will have six tournaments.

“Introducing our co-captains for the #NSC2022. We can’t wait to see Eliakim Kichoi and  Ronnie Omondi leading us at the 32nd edition of #Kabeberi7s next weekend at RFUEA Grounds. #Rfamily,” reads a statement by Mwamba RFC.

The Club finished second in the 2019 National 7s Circuit having won the Kabeberi 7s tournament held in Meru and Prinsloo 7s in Nakuru. They will be aiming higher in this upcoming campaign.

Ahead of their home tournament which will kick start this year’s National 7s Campaign, Kulabu have struck deals with Avenue Healthcare and Galito’s Kenya.

In the new partnership, Avenue Healthcare will be healthcare and evacuation partners for the 32nd edition of George Mwangi Kabeberi Sevens.

Avenue Healthcare will provide ambulances as well as on-site personnel to deal with emergency cases. The hospital will also provide a medical doctor to support the paramedics and physiotherapists at the event.

Galito’s Kenya, a Division of Simbisa Brands Kenya Ltd on the other hand is the official Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) partner.
