Currie Cup first Division Standings after round four matches

After playing three matches in the Currie Cup first division, Kenya Simbas are placed ninth on a 10 team standings.

The Simbas have suffered three losses in a row in the competition and have two points. Paul Odera coached side has conceded 139 points and has scored 68.  Kenya Simbas’s next opponent Border Bulldogs are placed bottom on the log with no points after four consecutive losses.

Eastern Province are top of the log with 16 points following three wins and one loss. Griffons who beat Kenya Simbas 66-33 last weekend are placed second with 15 points after a 100% win record in their opening three matches.

Valke are also on 15 points but have an inferior point differential which puts them third on the log.  Black Lion, SWD Eagles and Boland Kavaliers are tied on nine points each. Defending Champions Leopards have six points at position seven while and Zimbabwe Goshawks are placed eighth with four points following one win (against the Simbas) and two losses.

The matches are set to countinue this weekend with five matches line-up.
