Daystar’s Oduor to be sidelined for 6-8 weeks

Daystar University’s Michael Oduor is set to be sidelined for six to eight weeks following an injury picked as the side won the KRU Nationwide on 23 April.

Oduor was suffered a fracture on his right foot in their  30-13 in the final at the RFUEA Grounds. The club has confirmed he will e out for a period of between 6-8 weeks.

“Michael Oduor got a fracture during the final last weekend. He got a cast and will be out for 6-8 weeks. Quick Recovery Oduor, Come back stronger,” the club announced.

Daystar and Zetech University will join the KRU Champions next season replacing Northern Suburbs and Egerton Wasps who drop down to the Nairobi and Rift Valley regional leagues next season.

The sides booked place in the second tier after winning their respective matches in the KRU after winning their semi-final encounters against Kitale RFC and Mombasa RFC.
