Kisii School stormed into the Nyanza Region Schools 15s final after a 9-6 win over Yala in a closely contested semi final played at Kisii School.
The National Prescott Cup finalists banked on three three pointers to see off St Mary’s who are Siaya County Champions. Edwin Omari was hero as his three kicks sailed through to lift the side past Yala who managed two penalties.
The first semifinal was not different as Maseno beat Nyabondo 3-0 reach the final. Maseno who had beaten Nyabondo 12-8 in the Kisumu county final put up a resolute defence and relied on a three pointer to complete a double and reach the final.
Nyabondo and St Mary’s Yala will battle out for the third spot in the first match that will usher in the final.
