Former Kenya Cup Champions, Nakuru RFC, have taken steps to strengthen their technical bench with the addition of two new coaches.
The club brought in former Menengai Oilers lock, Javan Ateh, as the new forward coach. Ateh has previously held this role while he was with the Oilmen, and they club will be hoping he will be a valuable asset to the team. Additionally, Kennedy Njoroge joined the technical bench as the new defense coach.
The arrival of these two coaches came days just before the resumption of the league and it is expected that they will play a crucial role in turning around the team’s results.

Despite being a former champion, Nakuru RFC have had a slow start to the season under the guidance of coach Simon Wariuki, with only one win in the opening six matches.
Their lone win came against the struggling Strathmore Leos, where they emerged victorious with a score of 26-12 at the Nakuru Athletic Club.
Unfortunately, they have lost to other teams such as Blak Blad, Mwamba Rugby Club, KCB Rugby, Menengai Oilers and Kabras RFC.
With the addition of these new coaches, the team is hopeful that they can improve their performance and make a comeback in the league.
