Mwamba RFC have named their squad for the Prinsloo 7s with former Kenya Sevens captain Tony Omondi making his long-awaited return 7s Circuit return after a lengthy spell on the sidelines through injury.
Omondi’s comeback is a major boost for the Paul Murunga-coached side as they prepare for the opening leg of the 2026 National 7s Circuit at Nakuru Athletics Club.
The experienced playmaker brings leadership and vast sevens experience to a youthful Mwamba squad.
Also included is Amon Bwambok, who impressed with Impala RFC during the 2025 National 7s Circuit. His arrival adds firepower to the Mwamba as the club looks to make a strong start to the campaign.

A fresh face in the squad is Raynold Anduvate, who is set to make his competitive debut for Mwamba after joining the club ahead of the new season.
The squad also features Eugene Ojiambo, Brian Mutugi, Byron Webbo, Bruce Shiemi and Wycliffe Ochieng, alongside Dennis Ndayala, Zoelick Buyuni, Aldrine Andanje and Paul Tatti.
Paul Murunga will lead the technical bench, assisted by Kelvin Juma, Jeff Onyango, Levis Kituyi and Ian Wamalwa as Mwamba target a positive start to their National Sevens Circuit campaign.
