Uganda Legends have announced a 25-man squad for the Legends Cup, which will be held at Mombasa Sports Club on Saturday, June 4, 2026.
Among the players selected is speedster Humphrey Asiligwa, one of the younger members of the squad who has earned a place in the highly anticipated fixture after impressing since making the move to Victoria Sharks from Kabras.
The squad also features long-serving Kenyan based Ugandan forward Asuman Mugerwa, who currently plays for Kabras RFC. The veteran forward, a former captain of the Uganda Cranes 15s and still an active player, brings a wealth of experience to the side.

Other notable names in the squad include Victor Wadia, Alex Mubiru, Ivan Kirabo, Stone Luggya, Robert Aziku, Chris Lubanga, Justin Kimono, Saul Kivumbi, and Michael Okorach.
Mombasa Sports Club will host the Legends Cup for the first time, with previous editions having been staged in Nairobi and Kampala.
Kenya Legends enter the contest as defending champions after securing their third consecutive Legends Cup title with a commanding 51-18 victory over Uganda at RFUEA Grounds. The result was the biggest winning margin in the history of the fixture.
The victory also marked Kenya’s sixth consecutive win over Uganda and delivered the largest aggregate scoreline in the competition’s history, with Kenya triumphing 70-35 across the two legs.
