Mauritius Rugby has announced its national women’s squad for the 2025 Rugby Africa Women’s 7s Championship, which will take place from November 15 to 17 in Nairobi, Kenya.
The team includes Sabine Desvaux, Abbie Sauzier, Lola Sobrido, Naika Dewulf, Juliana De Falbaire, Francine Khejoo, Mégane Jauffret, Ophélie De Comarmond, Ambre De Comarmond, Mila Venkiah, Selena Maigrot, and Olivia Harel.
Captain Sabine Desvaux will lead the side, bringing leadership and composure
The tournament will bring together the continent’s top women’s rugby nations, including South Africa, Kenya, and Uganda, all vying for continental glory and qualification opportunities for upcoming international competitions.

Defending champions South Africa headline Pool A, where they will face Zimbabwe and Mauritius.
Pool B features last year’s runners-up Kenya Lionesses, alongside Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire, while Uganda, Zambia, and Burkina Faso make up Pool C.
Kenya was confirmed as host nation in September. The Kenya Lionesses, Uganda, and Tunisia recently participated in the Safari 7s as part of their build-up to this continental showpiece.
