In 2020, following the postponement of the World Rugby Sevens Series due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Caslick transitioned to rugby league, joining the Sydney Roosters in the NRL Women’s Premiership. However, she returned to rugby sevens in 2021 and played a vital role in Australia’s gold medal win at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Caslick was also part of the Australian squad that lifted the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens title in Cape Town, South Africa. Her leadership skills were further recognized when she was chosen to captain the Australian women’s sevens team for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Born in Brisbane, Caslick developed her skills early, representing Touch Football Australia and the Australian Youth Olympic Festival before making her international sevens debut in 2013. She has since been hailed as “the best women’s rugby sevens player on the planet.”
