The race for the top four slots in the Eric Shirley Shield (ESS) is intensifying, with three teams maintaining a perfect record after four rounds of action.

KCB Rugby lead the ESS standings with 20 points, bolstered by an impressive point differential of +236. They are closely followed by Kabras RFC, also on 20 points, but with a point differential of +234.

Oilers streak in ESS

Menengai Oilers are right behind, tied on 20 points and a point differential of +132, keeping the pressure on the top two.

Kenya Harlequin have dropped a point this season after failing to secure a bonus point, leaving them with 19 points. Nondies are also on 19 points, sitting in fourth place after the opening four rounds.

EDITOR’S PICKS:

Impala RFC are sixth on the log with a significant gap, having accumulated just seven points.

Blak Blad also have seven points after seven matches. Kisumu are further behind with a single point, while Strathmore Leos have yet to register any points.

South Coast Pirates are at the bottom of the table with a negative point differential of -6.
