Blak Blad have made three changes to the squad that featured at the season-opening Prinsloo 7s ahead of this weekend’s Dala 7s in Kisumu, with Derrick Masese among the players named for the second leg of the 2026 National Sevens Circuit.
Masese has been included alongside Aden Noor and Elvis Otete, with the trio replacing Gabriel Otete, Bilton Mbalani and Arcadias Khwesa, who were part of the squad that competed in Nakuru.
Co-captains Bryson Ogamba and Rodgers Okoth retain their leadership roles, while the club has maintained the core of the side that reached the Cup quarter-finals at the Prinsloo 7s.

Blak Blad’s campaign in Nakuru ended in the quarter-finals following a narrow 12-7 defeat to Nondescripts RFC before the students lost 17-10 to Daystar Falcons in the fifth-place playoff to finish seventh overall.
The students now turn their focus to the Dala 7s, where they have been drawn in a challenging Pool B alongside Kenya Harlequins, Menengai Oilers and MSC Rugby as they seek to improve on their opening-leg performance.
