Kenya 7s coaching staff have unveiled the squad set to represent the country in the upcoming World SVNs Championship legs in Valladolid (29–31 May) and Bordeaux (5–7 June).
National 7s Circuit standout Victor Odhiambo Mola earns his first call-up to the squad and is in line for a World Series debut, with Floyd Wabwire making way.
Chrissant Onjwang returns to the team after missing the Hong Kong leg through injury, while Gabriel Ayimba drops out of the travelling squad.
The rest of the core group remains intact, with captain George Ooro and Samuel Asati retained, alongside Kevin Wekesa, Dennis Abukuse, John Okoth, Vincent Onyala, Nygel Amaitsa, Festus Safari, David Nyangige, and Brian Tanga.

Patrick Odongo, who missed the closing stages of the Hong Kong tournament due to injury, has recovered and is also included in the squad.
The tournament, hosted at the iconic Estadio José Zorrilla, brings together the world’s top rugby sevens nations in a crucial penultimate round of the series.
Kenya has been drawn in Pool A alongside South Africa, Australia, and Great Britain in what is widely regarded as the “group of death.”
Pool B features Argentina, New Zealand, Uruguay, and Germany, while Pool C includes Spain, Fiji, France, and the USA.
The women’s competition is equally competitive, with New Zealand, Japan, Brazil, and Argentina in Pool A. Pool B consists of Australia, USA, Fiji, and South Africa, while Pool C features France, Canada, hosts Spain, and Great Britain.
