The tournament will feature four nations: South Africa women’s national rugby union team, Kenya Lionesses, Uganda women’s national rugby union team and Madagascar women’s national rugby union team.
Rugby Africa Cup Performance Division defending champions South Africa head into the tournament after a dominant previous campaign. The Springbok Women sealed the continental title with a commanding 61-17 victory over hosts Madagascar at Stade Makis in Antananarivo, completing a perfect run of three wins from three matches.
The Kenya Lionesses finished second in that edition and will now be aiming to go one better on home soil.
