Impala RFC have named their matchday squad ahead of their upcoming fixture Blak Blad, with Tyson Okoth set to continue as captain the side as the team looks to deliver a strong performance.

Okoth anchors the second row alongside Leon Onduso, bringing leadership and physicality to the pack. The front row features Warren Akaranga and Onesmus Kinyanjui on the loose and hooker roles respectively, while Brian Ochieng completes the trio at tighthead prop.

In the back row, Victor Imela, Bonface Ogot and Billy Arigi provide balance with their work rate around the breakdown and ball-carrying ability.

The half-back pairing will see Samuel Muli start at scrum-half with Meshack Andale directing play from fly-half. Out wide, Derrick Kinyari and Sultan Mikael take up the wing positions, while Raynold Anduvate and Israel Soi combine in midfield to provide both defensive solidity and attacking creativity.

Quinto Ongo starts at fullback, expected to provide counter-attacking threat and stability under the high ball.

Impala have also named a bench that could play a key role later in the match. Wayne Akaranga, Tariq Ngige and Milton Omondi provide the front-row cover, while Eric Kopondo and Gerald Onyango offer reinforcement in the forwards.

The backline replacements include Keith Barasa, Kuria Karanja and Patrick Mutuku, giving the coaching staff tactical flexibility should changes be required during the game.
