The Kenya Cup season reached its sixth week with notable changes at the bottom of the table, while the top teams continue to dominate.
Former champions Nakuru RFC found themselves at the bottom of the standings following a crushing 57-3 home defeat to Kabras RFC. This heavy loss leaves the two-time champions without a point halfway through the season.
Kenya Cup danger zone
South Coast Pirates also dropped back into the relegation zone after suffering their fifth loss of the season, this time to Mwamba RFC. Pirates are 11th on the log with only four points.
On the other hand, Mwamba RFC celebrated their first win of the season, a bonus-point victory over the Pirates, which lifted them above the relegation zone.
Strathmore Leos secured their maiden victory of the season, beating Kisumu RFC with a bonus point. Both teams are now tied on six points, following a closely contested match.

Impala RFC entered double figures after a losing bonus point in the Ngong Road Derby against Nondies. With 10 points, they trail Blak Blad by just one point, as Blak Blad remain on 11 points despite four consecutive losses.
Kenya Harlequin, who have 22 points, suffered back-to-back defeats for the first time this season, including a loss to Nondies in the second Ngong Road Derby.
Nondies, with their second consecutive derby win, have opened a five-point gap over Kenya Harlequin and remain strong in the middle of the table.
At the top, Kabras RFC hold firm after their dominant win over Nakuru RFC, maintaining the top spot with 30 points. Their point differential stands at a remarkable 363.
KCB RFC are also on 30 points but trail Kabras on point differential, with a margin of 291. Meanwhile, Oilers remain in contention with a point differential of 255.
