Kabras RFC head coach Carlos Katywa has announced his squad for their Kenya Cup week six fixture against Nakuru RFC at the Nakuru Athletics Club.

After missing the first two matches of the year due to the passing of his father and uncle, Jone Kubu is back in the squad. Kubu, who has already registered five tries and 19 conversions in just three appearances this season, will start in the midfield alongside Brian Mutua. Walter Okoth, who had five consecutive starts, moves to the bench, while Alvin Mutachi misses out.

Eric Cantona has shifted to full-back, replacing Jackson Siketi, who drops out of the squad. Samuel Omollo, who made his debut off the bench last week, will get his first Kenya Cup start at fly-half.

Barry Robinson retains the scrum-half position as the team continues to deal with injuries in that role.

The wingers remain unchanged since match day two, with Griffin Chao—currently boasting 13 tries this season—on the open side and Alfred Orege on the left wing.

In the pack, there is one change as skipper George Nyambua makes way for Jeanson Misoga. Misoga, who scored five tries in Kabras’ previous meeting against Nakuru at the Nakuru Athletics Club, will start on the open-side flank.

Collins Indeche, who has been in outstanding form, earns his fifth start of the season. The front row remains consistent, featuring Edward Mwaura, Teddy Akala, and Emmanuel Otieno.

With 12 wins in 15 appearances against Nakuru RFC, Kabras RFC will aim to maintain their unbeaten record at the Nakuru Athletics Club.
