South Coast Pirates head coach Kevin Amiani has named his first ever Kenya Cup squad to play KCB Rugby at the KCB sports club in Ruaraka.
In the squad, Newton Okeyo and Kelly Akengo are the only players with Kenya Cup experience.
Majority of the names in the squad will be making their maiden Kenya Cup appearance following the 2023/24 KRU Championship win.
The starting squad will see Evans Mwakio starting as the outside prop alongside Sospeter Rofino who will don the number 2 jersey and Hafidh Mohamed making his first appearance for the side as the inside prop.

In the second row, Ken Wambua and Collins Kabayo will partner as James Ainea and Newton Okeyo will partner as flankers and Steven Ochieng will close the pack side as the eighth man.
Ali Rashid and Kelly Akengo will be in charge of the field of play as the scrumhalf and fly-half respectively.
The back three positions will see Kenneth Omaset collaborating with Brighton Omondi and Dennis Njaguru as blindside winger, openside winger and fullback respectively.
The mid-pitch will see Joseph Musyoki playing as the inside center and Charles Tendwa as the outside center.
