Kisumu RFC have unveiled their squad that will play Kenya Harlequin in what seems to be a do-or-die clash for them at the Kisumu Polytechnic on Saturday 2nd March 2024 as from 3.00pm.
Kisumu RFC battle for survival took a fresh twist after they were deducted four points they had got from Blak Blad’s match, dragging them to a relegation dog fight. Moses Amonde and Osodo Osiri will start as loose-head and tight-head props respectively. Ronny Onyango will perform hooking duties.
Cornel Byrone has been named as a starting lock and so is Victor Were. Elvince Odhiambo start from the blind side flank as Tito Oyoo will seek to make his presence felt on the open side flank. Maurice Ochieng will pack down at the base of the scrum.
Walter Ambe starts at scrum-half and will work in tandem with Warren Kamadi, who has been named at the fly-half. Malik Habil and Henry Ochieng partner in the midfield as inside centre and outside centre respectively.
Alvin Kalori will man the left wing as Washington Ochieng does so in the right wing. David Williams starts at fullback.
The likes of Chris Otieno, Tevin Okesi, Paul Amenya, Baker Francis and former Eldoret RFC player, Caxton Aresi form part of the replacements.
