MMUST RFC team news ahead of JKUAT date

After an impressive pre-season run in Victoria 15s, MMUST RFC will be hosting the promoted JKUAT on their season opener match at Kakamega Showground on Saturday morning.

MMUST have only made one change where Ishmael Karanja goes into the starting 15.

Collins Ngoko (c), Ishmael Karanja and Javan Orlando take Jersey one, two and three respectively. Ryan Makaka will start as a lock as well as Nelson Makokha who graduated this friday..

Benson Mwata another graduate and Brian Ndeda will be flankers of the day. Paywick Munoko will be the last man on the scrum with Jersey eight.

Skipper Veron Kaburu will be the scrum half and will be assisted by Washington Ombima at fly-half. Ian Oduor and Kelvin Bukhala will be the first and second centres respectively.

The back three will have Musa Mugandi at the blind wing, Sam Maboni at the open wing and Josephat Omulefu at the fullback.
