Uganda Lady Cranes 23-man squad for Elgon Cup revealed

Uganda Lady Cranes have named the 23-man squad that will face Kenya Lioness and represent the country at the Jomo Kenyatta Stadium Mamboleo, Kisumu on the 11th of November 2023.

The Squad was named in relation to the Uganda Rugby women’s clubs with the Uganda 7s League Champions the Black Pearls has made a three-man contribution to the squad as Peace Mirembe, Leona Acen and Emily Lekuru are named.

The Thunderbirds, Avengers and Panthers each made a high count in player naming with Avengers eight, and five for the Thunderbirds and Panthers.

Monica Nandudu and Tina Akello are each chosen from their Mbale RFC and Nile Rapids to join the named squad as they are set to face the Lioness.
