Zimbabwe U20 have announced its starting lineup for the Barthes Trophy final against Kenya U20 at Nyayo Stadium.
In the front row, Ngobile Manyara will start as the loosehead prop with Bryan Chiang at hooker and Tadiwa Chinwada at tighthead.
Huntley Materson and Tanaka GondoMukandapi (VC) will form the second row partnership. Tanaka Ndoro, Muzuva Gutu, and Allan Mawunga make up the back row as flankers and number 8, respectively.
Panashe Zuze, the team captain, will start at scrum-half, while Brendan Marume (VC) will be at fly-half.
Edward Sigauke and Alex Nyamunda will pair up in the midfield as the inside and outside centers, respectively. Dion Khumalo and Simbarashe Kanyangarara will play on the wings with Benoni Nhekairo starting as the fullback.
On the bench, Stanley Muraganwa, Garry Zisengwe, Gealan Jaricho, Leo Mutendi, and Tawanayasha Gwanya provide front and back row cover. Shadrick Mandaza, Tanaka Chinyanga, and Taona Mapani complete the replacements.
Zimbabwe U20 is looking to defend their title, having won the competition in 2019.
The team has gone through the tournament undefeated. The final promises to be an exciting match, with both teams aiming to come out on top.
