The Kenya Cup final will take place on 11 March 2023 at the Kakamega Showground, home to Kabras RFC.

Rugby fans will witness the highly anticipated Kenya Cup final between Kabras RFC and KCB rugby at the Showground FROM 3:00 PM.

This marks a return to the Forest, as it’s commonly known, since the 2019 final. Kabras, who have hosted the previous four finals, held the 2021 final at Nandi Bears due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Last season, the Sugarmen took the final to the Bull Ring and won their first Kenya Cup title in six years by defeating Menengai Oilers 34-28.

This year, Kabras secured the top spot for the fifth consecutive year, with an unbeaten record in the regular season, earning 52 points. They secured their eighth consecutive final by beating Kenya Harlequin 22-8.

KCB finished second in the regular season with 51 points, losing only once to Kabras at the KCB Sports Club, 29-23. In the semi-finals, they defeated Menengai Oilers 38-20, setting up the showdown with Kabras.
